This book is concerned with the media's role in everyday life, power relations and the construction of masculine identities in the context of prisons. About the Author
Yvonne Jewkes is Senior Lecturer and course leader in criminology at Coventry University. She has written extensively within the criminology and criminal justice field, was formerly a lecturer at the Scarman Centre, University of Leicester, and is also a member of the Prison Research Centre at the Institute of Criminology, University of Cambridge.
