Description

Cap Stone is the World's only superhero. But even so, time stops for no man and the good Captain's powers are fading with middle age and financial crisis. But following a catastrophic miscalculation, the media descend on Stone and he vanishes, but not before he issues warnings of a grave calamity about to before the planet. Keen to find the truth behind the disappearance of Stone, his sister begins a long, painful and potentially deadly hunt for her brother!

A highly respected comics creator takes a fresh look at what it means to be a superhero in a world dominated by the culture of celebrity and the unrelenting intrusion of the media. A comic very much in the flavor of Alan Moore's Dark Knight Returns and Batman: Killing Joke, Frank Miller's Sin City and Bill Sienkiewicz's Electra Assassin. A clever and thoughtful story woven with incredible artwork!

About the Author
Liam Sharp studied under legendary British artist Don Lawrence before making his debut in 2000 AD. He went on to illustrate Batman, Death's Head, Hulk, Spider-Man, Superman, X-Men and much more.

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
