Description

When Alice arrives on campus amidst the ancient splendour of Cambridge University, she thinks she's found her wonderland.

Then one night something happens - one inexplicable act ruins everything and she finds herself alone.

Alice will not admit defeat; having practically raised her two brothers single-handedly, she is good at being strong. Too good.

But Soon her dark secret becomes too much and the cracks begin to show. Her weekly meetings with Flo, the stranger on the bench, become her lifeline. And try as she might to bury the dark truth of that awful night, she begins to realise that some things have to be faced up to.

It's time for Alice to look at her broken reflection and start to put the pieces back together...

Emotional women's fiction for fans of Cecilia Ahern's PS, I LOVE YOU.

Reviews
'An accomplished debut novel that will be thoroughly enjoyed by tennagers while the rest of us can enjoy the innocence, although some less clued-in parents may find it a bit of an eye-opener' * Irish Independent *
'A love story for the text generation' * Irish Examiner *
'Ireland's newest publishing sensation' * Irish Daily Mail *
'Reads like the love child between Cecelia Ahern and Ross O'Carroll Kelly' * Irish Independent *
'A love story for Generation Text' * The Irish Times *
Owes much to Judy Blume... but while Blume produced hers as an adult, Ruth Gilligan at 18 is still a teen herself. Arguably this results in a greater understanding of her young characters... * Metro *
'An old-fashioned teenage romance' * Sunday Tribune/Sunday Times *

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
