About the Author
Hellen is a writer, consultant, examiner and Principal Lecturer at the Faculty of Education, Canterbury Christ Church University and Faculty Director for STEM. She is a member of the following professional institutions: Association for Science in Education (ASE), Association for Achievement and Improvement through Assessment (AAIA), National Association of Science Advisers, National Association of Science ITE and British Education Research Association (BETA). She holds a CSci Teach award: This chartered designation requires the recipient to have the skills, knowledge, understanding and expertise to be able to make a major contribution to the advancement of science teaching and learning. The award is further underpinned by an annual requirement to demonstrate involvement in Continued Professional Development (CPD). She has contributed towards many published primary and secondary science resources including those by the DFEE, TTS, ASE and other major publishers. Rosemary Feasey is known across the science community for her work in primary science. She has been Chair of the Association for Science Education; her experience is extensive, having taught across the primary age range and trained teachers at both Durham and Northumbria Universities. Rosemary has many publications for major publishers to her name. She is renowned for her in-service work across the UK and is a regular course leader for the Science Learning Network including courses at the National Science Learning Centre, York. Her work has, on many occasions taken her abroad including being part of a writing team for primary science curricula and involved providing CPD to teachers as well as providing intensive support in schools, she has also supported science in British international schools abroad. Her work has also taken her abroad as a key note speaker. Rosemary has worked with the BBC, BBC Scotland and Channel 4 on primary science programmes and was part of a BAFTA nominated team for work on a children's science series. Rosemary also works for the Primary Science Teaching Trust which includes evaluating funded projects, creating CPD units and mentoring members of the PSTT College.

Fast and efficient way to choose and receive books

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.

Found a hard to get book…

Finding a hard to get book on Booksplease and with it not being an over inflated price was great. Ordering was really easy with updates on despatch. The book was packaged well and in great condition. I will certainly use them again.
