Reviews
Review of the hardback: 'This Handbook conveniently brings together a wide range of contributions by international experts. It provides an up-to-date and comprehensive coverage of what we know, and still don't know, about how culture influences organizations and work. This is a subject of keen interest to both scholars and practitioners, but one in which different theories and methodologies compete for attention. The handbook that Bhagat and Steers have assembled guides us through the maze and will be an indispensable source of reference for many years to come.' John Child, Chair of Commerce, Birmingham University Business School
Review of the hardback: 'Effectively managing cross-cultural interaction for the benefit of society and the economy will define the success of twenty-first century society. The Cambridge Handbook of Culture, Organizations, and Work, edited by Rabi Bhagat and Rick Steers, could not be more relevant or timely. It is an important addition to the libraries and thinking of international management scholars.' Nancy J. Adler, S. Bronfman Chair in Management, McGill University Montreal and author of International Dimensions of Organizational Behavior
Review of the hardback: 'Rabi Bhagat and Rick Steers have combined their broad knowledge of research on organizations and culture to edit a state-of-the-art handbook that will serve as an important work of reference for both new and established scholars. The Cambridge Handbook of Culture, Organizations, and Work melds a strong disciplinary and cross-disciplinary perspective and features contributions from up-and-coming as well as highly respected senior scholars in the field.' Arie Y. Lewin, Professor of Strategy and Sociology, the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University, and Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of International Business Studies (2002-7)
