Joss Whedon is the creator and guiding light behind Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Firefly and Dollhouse. He also wrote and directed Serenity, and is director on the Marvel film The Avengers Drew Goddard wrote Cloverfield, and has also written episodes of Alias and Lost.
