Jim Smith is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a professor in property and construction with the Faculty of Society and Design at Bond University. His research interests include construction economics, project inception and design management. He has published in excess of 130 refereed journal and conference papers. This book also complements his earlier works, Building Cost Planning in Action and Building Design Cost Management. David Jaggar is the former Deputy Director of the School of the Built Environment, Liverpool John Moores University, Liverpool. His research interests include construction economics, design management, and construction procurement. He was the co-founder and Joint Chair of CIB-W92, Construction Procurement and serves on editorial boards of several international journals. This book complements his earlier works, Design and the Economics of Building and Building Design Cost Management. Peter Love is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and John Curtin Distinguished Professor in the School of Civil and Mechanical Engineering, Curtin University.
