Jeremy B. C. Jackson is an emeritus professor at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography and a senior scientist emeritus at the Smithsonian Institution. His previous books include Kayaking the Full Moon and, with David Brower, Let the Mountains Talk, Let the Rivers Run.
