Crocodiles, alligators, caimans, and gharials-the Crocodylia, known collectively as crocodylians-are the world's largest living reptiles. The largest of them, probably the estuarine or saltwater crocodile, Crocodylus porosus, can grow to almost twenty feet and weigh more than two thousand pounds.
