She is an enthusiastic, if unaccomplished, walker, fellrunner and cyclist and when not at her desk, she is usually to be found knee-deep in bog in the Peak District. Markus Stitz is a German-born route designer, filmmaker, photographer and writer, based in Edinburgh, Scotland. He caught the adventure bug while living in New Zealand and has explored Great Britain extensively since he moved here in 2009. After cycling 34,000 kilometres around the world on a single-speed mountain bike he founded Bikepacking Scotland and has worked across Scotland, designing gravel and bikepacking routes for Wild About Argyll, Perthshire Gravel, Visit East Lothian and the Cateran Ecomuseum.
