About the Author
Liz Hyder is a writer, creative workshop leader and award-winning arts PR consultant. She has a BA in drama from the University of Bristol and, in early 2018, won the Bridge Award/Moniack Mhor's Emerging Writer Award. Bearmouth was her debut novel and she has since written two acclaimed historical fiction novels for adults. Her latest young adult novel, The Twelve, will be published with Pushkin in October 2024, also with cover artwork (and inside illustrations) by Tom de Freston.
