About the Author

Ravneet Gill is the author of the bestselling A Pastry Chef's Guide (2020), Sugar, I Love You (2021) and Baking for Pleasure (2023). She studied at Le Cordon Bleu before taking over the pastry sections at St. JOHN, Llewelyn's and Wild by Tart. Now a freelance chef, she set up industry networking forum Countertalk in 2018 and online cookery school, Damson Jelly Academy. Ravneet has been a judge on Channel 4's Junior Bake Off alongside Liam Charles since 2020. She is also a judge on Channel 4/Netflix show Five Star Kitchen alongside Mike Reid and Michel Roux Jr. She has written for the Telegraph as a pastry specialist, is a regular columnist for Guardian Feast and was selected as one of Sheerluxe's '100 Individuals Who Have Inspired Us In 2023'.

Fast and efficient way to choose and receive books

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.

Found a hard to get book…

Finding a hard to get book on Booksplease and with it not being an over inflated price was great. Ordering was really easy with updates on despatch. The book was packaged well and in great condition. I will certainly use them again.
