Reviews

This book is a comprehensive review of atrial septal defects, focusing especially on ostium secundum ASDs. The authors have done an excellent job identifying the key aspects in diagnosis and treatment of ASDs and discuss them in great detail. The objective of the book seems to be to provide a thorough review ofostium secundum ASDs, which is exceptionally met by the authors. The intended audience includes medical students, residents, pediatricians, internists, family physicians, adult and pediatric cardiology fellows, cardiologists, and midlevel providers. The authors are internationally renowned cardiologists working at a reputable hospital in India. This book is very useful in learning about ostium secundum ASDs. 3D imaging, TTE/TEE and intracardiac echocardiographic images, which are abundant in the book, make it easier for the targeted audience to understand the diagnosis and closure techniques. The authors have done a phenomenal job covering all the aspects of this entity including history, pathophysiology, diagnosis, and management techniques. They have very meticulously gathered information about various closure devices and indications to use different devices. Comprehensive review of all the available closure devices adds significant, unique value. Overall, this book is an excellent resource for physicians in all stages of their careers who are interested in learning about ASDs, echo imaging, and closure devices.

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
