Description

No matter what our differences are, we all ultimately ask the same big questions of life. When will I find love? What happens when we die? Why do bad things happen to good people? How do I go on? As a psychic, Helen Jacobs has heard just about every curly question there is. Asking For A Friend provides answers from the spirit realm, with a side dose of hope, comfort and gentle guidance to those navigating challenging times. This is the ultimate spiritual FAQ, bringing together answers to the most commonly asked questions Helen has received over the past decade. From dealing with losing someone you love or a relationship breakdown, to how to navigate the very uncertain times we're experiencing, including our current climate crisis and other world-altering events, Asking For A Friend serves up bite-sized wisdom to life's biggest questions.

About the Author
A trained journalist, Helen Jacobs was a successful PR and marketing executive who left her thriving career to become a full-time psychic, hosting popular workshops and events to provide thousands of readings for people all over the world. In addition to her work as a medium, Helen mentors and teaches women how to change their lives and find a more meaningful path for themselves. She is the author of You Already Know: How to access your intuition and find your divine life path.

Reviews
'Warm, kind, at times hilarious and loaded with the guidance we need to deepen our understanding of ourselves. Certain gems within hit me like a lightning bolt to the heart. This is an important read for anyone who identifies as a Light Worker or wants to be their best selves in deeply destabilising times.' - Bonnie Sveen, actor, creator and producer

'This book is the oracle for every burning question you have about yourself and the world around you. Asking For A Friend is guidance of the highest calibre delivered by a trusted companion. Instead of looking outside of yourself this book invites you to go within. Asking For A Friend is the companion we all crave in a world full of big questions!' - Jordanna Levin, internationally bestselling author of Make It Happen

'I love everything Helen writes, and this book is no exception. While reading it, I felt imbued with a sense of renewed energy, confidence, and importantly, hope; a sometimes too-fleeting emotion that we all need more of right now. This book is like having Helen as your incredible guide, in your pocket. It's so wonderfully readable - you could sit down with a mug of tea and read pages and pages, or simply flip it open to find the answer to your question, and then carry on with your day. Too often to count, I thought she was speaking to me, and me only. But that's one of her gifts, isn't it? To see inside us all, to help guide us, and to help us guide ourselves. She is a gifted writer, a gift to us all, and this book is a gift to bookshelves the world over.' - Cassie Mendoza-Jones Author of You Are Enough

'In this book, Helen elegantly pulls us up out of our mundane, limited, human perception of life and reveals the bigger picture that we don't see. Understanding that there is more than one meaning available to us at all times brings a rush of much-needed relief and hope in our fast-paced, uncertain and anxious world. There is a longing in each of us for meaning and answers, and Helen addresses this with a brilliant blend of higher guidance, life wisdom and practical tools that are accessible to anyone. These words take me back home to my heart, my soul and what I know to be true, even in the absence of a rational explanation. Asking For A Friend is a compelling handbook of life answers and a manual for deepening my trust in the Universe in those inevitable moments of doubt and fear. It's both empowering and reassuring, at a time in the world when this is most needed. I know I'll be referring back to it again and again.' - Georgie Collinson, Anxiety Mindset Coach, Gut Health Expert & Nutritionist

'A beautiful mixture of realism and optimism, Asking For A Friend is the source of inspiration for anyone seeking guidance to help answer burning lifelong questions. Helen has a beautifully tender way of making you ponder what you might otherwise overlook and focus on the questions that matter whilst she effortlessly guides you on a journey to self-discovery; not only by providing helpful tools that encourage curiosity and introspection, but by also taking your hand and walking step-by-step through real life examples. The result is a completely new perspective of the world and yourself - a fresher, more vibrant view, packed with new and bold possibilities. Relatable, vulnerable and transformative, it is guaranteed to speak to your soul in so many ways. Filled with spiritual wisdom on every page, this book targets an infinite array of areas in which you can make a huge and lasting impact. If you need a friend who understands you, a guru that gently guides you and a voice to awaken what is already deep within you, then look no further. Make sure to get this one.' - Katie Mant, host of That's So Yesterday podcast

'Great read, very insightful. I have gained a lot of new knowledge to negotiate my way through the hurdles of life' - Andy Mant, host of That's So Yesterday podcast

'If you've ever wished you had a psychic on speed dial, Helen's book is all you need. If you've got a tough question this book will have the answer. Helen's book is something I will continue to return to over and over. A bedside must!' - Rachel Crethar, Founder of Rock & Co

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
