Description

From the Victorian cloth mills to contemporary studios, the people of Stroud have a long and noble history of making things by hand. All around the valleys, makers are engaged in creating beautiful and useful objects, works of art and installations.

Here, Clare Honeyfield, multi-award-winning business owner and coach, brings to life the conversations she's had with the many wonderful and talented makers and artists of the ever-popular Stroud.

She has also written for 'The Weekend Magazine' in 'The Citizen' and she was a contributor to 'Women of Spirit, Vol 2'. Clare co-founded The Made in Gloucestershire Shop, The Gloucestershire Association of Farmers' Markets, among many other things. Made in Stroud works with around 80 makers at any one time and Clare has been working with designer/makers for over 30 years.

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
