About the Author
Rachel Rivett (Author) Rachel Rivett is a picture book author whose books have been published in 9 languages. She trained in Drama at Bretton Hall in Yorkshire. Sheworked as a youth worker, ran a young people's touring drama group, andworked in schools with children at risk of exclusion. She was awarded adistinction for her MA in Writing for Children at Winchester Universityand was shortlisted for SCBWIs Undiscovered Voices 2014, with her youngadult novel, Traitor Girl. She happily home educates her fourchildren believing that the best learning happens when people are encouraged to follow their hearts. Tina Macnaughton (Illustrator) Tina Macnaughton is a bestselling and award-winning illustrator. Shehas illustrated over 50 books and her books have been published in 41 countries. Born in Edinburgh, she grew up in the south of England where she now currently lives with her husband and daughter. Her illustration training began as a girl when she drew every night in bed on a little chalk board until everything was covered in blue, pink or yellow much to thefrustration of her mother.
