About the Author
Rita Taylor is a self-taught knitter who has been designing for more than twenty-five years. Having cultivated a lifelong interest in traditional knitting styles and their social history, she is passionate about preserving and promoting traditional skills and heritage crafts. As a keen cyclist and artist, she gets much inspiration for her work from the countryside around her. Author of six previous books on knitting and crochet techniques, Rita's designs are regularly featured in top knitting magazines such as Knit Now and The Knitter.
