Reviews

"This is an easy to read guide to issues and ideas for working with young people who have faced trauma. I would recommend this book for counsellors, teachers, social workers an also students across a range of disciplines. There are several general chapters exploring the area and then specific chapters on different experiences - for example, adoptive families, looked after children, young offenders and young homeless people. Each chapter provides insight, reflective learning exercises and practical tips or guidance. There is a detailed biography. However, one key advantage of the book is it is laid out in an easy to read, straight forward manner - making it useful for a busy practitioner." - Dr. Sara Whittaker, Consultant Clinical Psychologist

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
