Description
This book is being published in conjunction with a unique exhibition project made possible through a cooperation between the Wuppertal campus of the HBK Essen, the Galerie Loehrl art gallery in Moenchengladbach, and artist Dirk Salz.
A text by professor Raimund Stecker examines the art intervention in the campus hall in Wuppertal, staged in 2023. He compellingly describes the envisioned and perceived ambiguity of supposed realities in this actualised space and the effects thereof on the audience.
The text is accompanied by views of the exhibition, sketches, and images of individual pieces featured in the exhibition, which illustrate specific aspects of transparency, reflection, and light.
