About the Author
Corrinne Averiss was five years old on the snowy day her mum wrapped her in a blanket and towed her home from school on a sledge. Happy memories of a storm weathered with love. Corrinne studied English Literature at the University of St Andrews, she is a writer and children's TV producer who lives in Manchester with her husband and Alba, the guard cat. Fiona Woodcock grew up in Leicester and knew from an early age that she wanted to earn her living from drawing. Since graduating from Glasgow School of Art, where it often snowed heavily, Fiona has been working on illustration and animation projects in the rarely snowy London town.
