Reviews

Create the hat of your dreams - or your wildest imagination - with this fun flipbook that allows you to mix and match hat brims, bodies and crowns to build a hat completely unique to you. In 10,000 Knitted Hats, regular Knitting designer and techniques guru Jo Allport celebrates choice and allows knitters to create something truly special. Anyone who thought the body of the hat was the only interesting bit, and that crowns were standard decreases and brims were standard ribs, is in for a big surprise. ... This really is the only hat knitting book you will ever need - now the only challenge is choosing which combination you will knit first!

-- Christine Boggis * Knitting magazine *

Celebrating the special ability we knitters have of creating something totally unique, this clever book allows you to mix and match the brim, body and crown of a hat to create your own combination - of which there are 10,000! Simply flip the pages to line up the three parts you want to join using the images, and the pattern is opposite. Discover a world of stitches and textures, and the limitlessness of your own creativity!

Jo Allport is a Simply Knitting favourite, and '10,000 Knitted Hats' is her publishing debut. My "hat" goes off to you Jo Allport for this brilliant idea of creating your own design combos. 10,000 Knitted hats is a book that gives one an opportunity to design their own hat. Simply flip over the pages to choose your favorite and start to knit. I love this concept! As a knitting designer, I love having options and this book definitely gave a variety of unique and clever ideas. ... I've never seen a knitting book published this way. Also, the illustrations were well done. I highly recommend this book.

* Sweetly Made Just for You blog *

The book is aimed at complete beginners or slightly more advanced knitters and all of the patterns are worked in double knitting wool. ... a good starting off point for those who want to create their own designs.

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
