It starts with a single black hair, growing thick and immovable from her spine.

Marianne is grieving. About the Author

Sally Oliver earned a Master's degree in English Literature at Lancaster University before moving to London to begin her career in publishing. She now works at the literary agency Greene & Heaton. The Weight of Loss is her debut novel.
