Description

A futuristic noir thriller: Ocean's Eleven meets Frankenstein in the age of automation, or Blade Runner with a satirical edge.

In 2089, in the aftermath of the most recent world war, the former United States is controlled by four trillionaires, and artificial intelligence has taken over most jobs. Kenji Sato and Aurora Withers are among the lucky ones - employed by a prestigious robotics company. But when they're terminated too, replaced by the very androids they created, the couple hatches the ultimate revenge plan: assemble the perfect heist crew out of androids they programmed! The ensuing crime spree goes perfectly... until betrayal and sentience emerge in equally devastating turns!

Crime novelist and comic author Jason Starr (The Next Time I Die, Ant-Man: Natural Enemy) reunites with Casual Fling collaborator Dalibor Talajic (Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe) in a tale with enough twists and turns to fry your circuits!

Reviews

"Jason Starr's smooth scripting eases you into this absorbing, post-World-War-Five crime thriller, and Dalibor Talajic's androids are as expressive as his humans." - Stuart Moore, (writer of Captain Ginger and Marvel Crisis Protocol: Into the Dark Dimension)

"With [writer Jason] Starr's penchant as a top-tier crime writer, Silicon Bandits is sure to be a painfully relevant and hugely gripping caper in equal measure." - AIPT Comics

"Silicon Bandits... is a cautionary tale of the future tech bros want to bring, an android infused society where they profit, not caring for those impacted." - Graphic Policy

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
