About the Author
Mieke Goethals (1971) grew up in Kuurne, Belgium. She studied interior design and attended night school for classes on graphic design. Now, she lives in Gits (Belgium) with her husband, three children, and two cats. Since 2010, she runs her own design studio: Creamanie. In 2013, she and her husband bought a loft in Roeselare (Belgium) and rebuilt it into a coworking space: Crealoft. Initially, Mieke designed both communication material and interiors. Now, she focuses mainly on graphic design for companies. As a child, Mieke already drew, painted, crafted, and sewed an entire fantasy world. She decided to do something with all stories and phantasies that have lived in her head since her childhood. Next to her client assignments, Mieke started designing children's books, her ultimate childhood dream. Santa's Present Hunt is her first look and search book. It brings together her two biggest passions: drawing and interiors.
