About the Author
C. M. Kosemen is an artist, author, and independent researcher born in Ankara, Turkey in 1984. He studied at Cornell University, Istanbul's Sabanci University and holds a Master's degree from London's Goldsmiths College.
Kosemen's artistic output ranges from scientifically accurate portrayals of prehistoric and imaginary lifeforms, to figurative surreal paintings that draw inspiration from the land, history, and the lifeforms of the Mediterranean world. Kosemen's surreal art has been displayed in exhibits in Catania, Vienna, Ulcinj, Istanbul, Ankara, Eskisehir, and London.
Kosemen's science-fiction book, All Tomorrows, has been listened to over 14 million times in audiobook form. Kosemen also worked as an editor for Benetton's Colors magazine and continues to work for international advertising agencies as an editor and copywriter.
A species of dwarf forest grasshopper, Naskreckiana kosemeni, was named in Kosemen's honour in 2023.
